We are currently recruiting for an experienced Coordinator on a fixed term (minimum 6 months) full-time, 38 hours per week, with potential to permanency to join our team at YMCA Yugumbir Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) located in Regents Park.About the roleIn this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators. You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.As the OSHC Coordinator you will be responsible for:The development of quality programsManage the day-to-day running of the programsCoordinate staffing and rosteringEnsure compliance with policyUndertake administrative requirementsWork collaboratively with families and the school communityAs the OSHC Coordinator:You have completed (or are close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Childrens Services)You have sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcareYou thrive in delivering excellent customer serviceYou have excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have a valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain themYou have a current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain oneAbout the teamYMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland. We are the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East, which provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.About your workplace at the YYMCA Yugumbir Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service is located at the Yugumbir State School in Regents Park. The service is licensed for 150 children per day and operates from 6am to 9 am in the morning and 3pm to 6pm in the afternoon during school terms. We also operate during school holidays for Vacation Care (6am to 6pm).The service has access to multi-functional rooms and playground area offering a wide range of fun, stimulating and diverse programs that reflect real world experiences and home settings.
