HUMAN RESOURCES & ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (Full Time)An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated Human Resources & Organisational Development Officer to join the Shire of Yorks Governance and People team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and enhancing HR processes, promoting organisational development, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Your contributions will be integral to the development and successful delivery of HR initiatives that align with the Shires strategic goals.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources:Support the Manager of Governance and People with all HR-related matters including management of the Employee Life Cycle.Promote Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) within the Shires workforce.Provide high-quality customer service and advice to internal and external stakeholders.Maintain confidentiality regarding all HR processes and information.Organisational Development:Promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture.Assist with the development and implementation of Organisational Cultural Programs.Oversee employee training and development, ensuring alignment with position-specific needs.Coordinate and deliver in-house training programs, collaborating with relevant Managers.Contribute to the ongoing review and implementation of HR systems and documentation to maintain compliance and best practices.This is a dynamic and key position within the Governance and People team, helping to drive continuous improvement and provide a supportive, confidential environment for all employees.Remuneration:The salary for the position is offered in accordance with Level 5 of the Shire of York Inside Staff Enterprise Agreement 2019 ($81,422 $85,153).
