We operate from our location in Bassendean.We are currently looking for a first class Welder/ Metal Fabricator to join our team.Qualifications & ExperienceTo be successful in obtaining this role you will have at least 2 years'' experience working in a similar role, as well as:Experience working for a manufacturing production line and understanding of processes.Experience in working for a vehicle body builder or vehicle manufacturing / repair environmentExperience using both hand and air compressed power toolsStrong fabrication skillsExceptional attention to detailStrong communication skillsHigh level of accuracySelf-Motivation and the ability to work autonomouslyTrack record of quality workmanshipAdditional Duties Will IncludeGrinding/sandingAbility to read and interpret CAD drawingsAbility to use and operate Hydraulic guillotineAbility to use and operate Hydraulic pressAbility to MIG weldTasks & ResponsibilitiesUndertaking building of new motor vehicle bodies and repairs to all vehicle body components, panels, frames, and door systems for state of the art emergency vehicles.In this role you will be involved in the manufacturing of vehicles as well as fit vehicle components constructed from such materials as aluminium, steel, stainless steel, sealing and bonding materials.The successful applicant will be offered a remuneration between $37.02 - $40 per hour plus super. You will be working Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm, with Friday work available at O/T rates from 6:30am - 12:30pm.We are looking for quality persons with the right skills and attitude.
