Everything we do, we do to help our guests and our people feel welcome and valued to give them the best experience possible.Overlooking the Mersey River, Novotel Devonport boasts an unrivaled waterfront location, unique design, outstanding service, and an exciting F&B concept.Join us, and become a Heartist.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a part-time Valet Attendant who will assist the Front Desk of the hotel and be responsible for welcoming guests, carrying luggage, parking and retrieval of guest cars, escorting guests to their rooms, explaining the facilities of the hotel, providing tourism information, and dining/entertainment recommendations to our guests.Safely park and retrieve guest vehiclesManage pick up times for vehicles to ensure they are onsite for early departuresBe the first point of contact and greet guests with a warm welcome every timeCheck the daily arrival list for VIPs or guests with special needs in a timely mannerGuide guests to their room and assist with their luggageBe present at the Concierge/Reception desk or in the lobby to be ready to assist guests, colleagues, and visitors when requestedRespond to guest requests and queries providing knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful information serviceQualificationsAn energetic, team-focused, and can-do attitudeEnthusiasm to connect with guests and to hear their storyExceptional communication skills both written and verbalBe reliable, well-groomed, and have excellent attention to detailThe ability to work across a 7-day roster - evenings, mornings, and weekendsMust hold a current full Australian or International Driver''s Licence. Manual licence viewed favourably.
