We include our love for food apart from exotic ingredients.Benefits, Tasks & ResponsibilitiesDuties of the role include the following:Prepare and serve a range of authentic Nepalese meals including a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items ensuring traditional flavours at a consistently high standard.Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.Check the cleanliness and operation of equipment before production.Engage effectively with suppliers in ordering daily supplies and receive and store stock as per company standards and estimated requirements.Explain and enforce food safety & hygiene regulations as per the current regulations.Ensure consistent and quality performance from kitchen team during peak trade hours.Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgement and experience specifically ensuring traditional Nepalese cooking techniques are followed to retain authenticity of the cuisine.Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgement, using various kitchen utensils.Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons.Regulate temperature of grills.Coordinate and supervise junior kitchen hand staff.Report any incidents occurred to the director within 24 hours.Qualification & ExperienceTo Be Selected You Must Have:Formal qualifications in commercial cookery and a minimum of at least 1 year experience as a Cook.A minimum of three years of experience may replace the requirement of having formal relevant qualifications.Priority will be given to people having previous work experience in Indian/Nepalese Restaurants.Passion for Cooking - A love for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.
