So, if you love it here as much as we do, and you want to shape our region for the future youll want to join our team!Customer Response ensures the education, safety, and amenity of the Sunshine Coast Community.The Burials and Plaques Attendant carries out a key role in delivering and maintaining efficient and effective day-to-day burial and memorial activities whilst ensuring tasks are completed in accordance with Council policy and legislation.Key Duties:Carry out tasks associated with burials, interment of cremated remains, and installation of memorials.Operate machinery and equipment associated with the function of the position and consistent with the award.Plan and carry out grave care activities throughout Councils cemeteries.Carry out basic asset-based maintenance and improvement tasks including painting and minor repairs.About You:As a requirement of this role, you will possess:30215 Qld General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) White CardCurrent Open Drivers Licence MR ClassExcavator operator ticketChainsaw Operators CertificateAgricultural Chemical Distribution Control LicencePhysical agility and the level of fitnessOpportunity for Career Growth:We welcome applications from individuals who may not yet meet all the qualifications but are eager to begin their career with Council.
