We build software for in-store and online payment processing and serve all major Banks and retailers, including CBA, ANZ, Woolworths, David Jones, Myer, JB Hi-Fi, and Bunnings just to name a few. We are experiencing strong growth and looking to bring some of our legal advice in-house with a great all-rounder who enjoys both in-house and client-facing work.Your responsibilities typically include:Legal Advice and Guidance: Providing legal advice to senior management and stakeholders on a wide range of issues, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation.Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and partners to protect the company''s interests.Risk Assessment: Identifying and assessing legal risks associated with business strategies and operations, and developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.Corporate Governance: Advising on corporate governance matters and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.Employment Law: Providing guidance on employment law matters, including employee relations, contracts, and compliance with labor regulations.Intellectual Property: Managing and protecting the company''s intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.What''s in it for you:Career Growth: Opportunity to play a key role in a leading fintech company with big growth aspirations.Impact: Make a significant impact by taking on a big role in a small company with minimal bureaucracy.Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Leadership team that is a functioning meritocracy. Were also happy to entertain this role as part-time 4 days/week schedule.Qualifications / Experience:5-7 years PQE relevant in-house legal experience in a high-tech company or commercial law firm, with a current practicing certificate and law degree.Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing SaaS agreements, Terms of Service, procurement, partnership, professional services, and intellectual property agreements.Significant transactional experience, preferably in an in-house environment, working on a wide variety of commercial contracts, including but not limited to SOWs, NDAs, and MSAs, vendor, procurement, supply chain, service, and customer/sales agreements.Strong ability to provide commercially focused legal advice and partner effectively with business teams in a fast-paced environment.Experience with local employment law and providing legal support on employee relations.Familiarity with privacy regulations and data protection, with experience liaising with regulators and law enforcement bodies being advantageous.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines, solve complex problems creatively, and gain trust across teams.At Linkly, we encourage our people to embrace our values, being:Act like an ownerCare and respectSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionLegalIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
