The team focuses on ensuring licences are granted by ASIC only to those who meet the necessary statutory requirements. The team also works closely with other ASIC teams to assist them in effectively carrying out their regulatory roles.The roleAs an Analyst, you will be required to utilise your experience and sound research and analytical skills to interpret complex information and legislation and resolve complex customer queries. You will be responsible for:Assessing basic to moderately complex Australian Financial Services Licence applications, as per the Corporations Act.Assessing basic to moderately complex Australian Credit Licence applications, as per the National Consumer Credit Protection Act.Communicating effectively with applicants and preparing documentation on issues identified during the assessment process.Providing recommendations and preparing documentation for refusal of licence applications.Liaising and negotiating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.About youWith your demonstrated experience in researching, analysing and interpreting complex information and legislation, you will have the technical expertise and skills to resolve complex customer queries and achieve impactful outcomes. Your experience includes strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders, as well as sound time management skills with strong attention to detail.
