Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Risk / Trade Risk Project Manager (PM) / Business Analyst (BA) for one of our major Financial Services clients in Krakow. You will lead and support key projects within the Treasury and Risk functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of domain knowledge in Treasury Risk, extensive experience in project management and business analysis, and a deep understanding of traded risk. This role will involve driving projects from inception to completion, enhancing regulatory reporting standards, improving data quality, and supporting liquidity-related projects. The individual should be comfortable working in both risk and change management environments, demonstrating leadership while fostering collaboration with various teams across the business.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end projects, focusing on Treasury Risk and Trade Risk, including managing timelines, scope, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.Drive improvements in data quality, ensuring it meets the required standards for decision-making and reporting.Support Treasury projects, particularly related to liquidity management, and identify opportunities to optimize risk management processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uplift regulatory reporting standards, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and compliance.Provide subject matter expertise on counterparty credit risk and stress testing, ensuring that the organization is well-prepared for potential risks and challenges.Work closely with product control teams to ensure the alignment of financial products and trading activities with overall risk management strategies.Provide business analysis to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities, and propose solutions for process improvements and system enhancements.Support stress testing activities, particularly in counterparty credit risk, ensuring robust methodologies and accurate risk assessments.Ensure that all project work aligns with the organization''s broader risk and regulatory strategies.Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring clarity around project progress, issues, and risks.Lead change management initiatives, driving business transformation to improve risk management practices and regulatory reporting capabilities.Required Skills and Experience:Trade Risk Knowledge: In-depth understanding of traded risk, including counterparty credit risk, liquidity, and stress testing methodologies.BA/PM Skills: Proven experience in both Business Analysis and Project Management, with a track record of successfully leading end-to-end projects in financial services.Treasury Risk Expertise: Strong knowledge of Treasury risk management practices, including liquidity risk, market risk, and regulatory frameworks.Product Control Experience: A background in product control, particularly within Treasury or Trading desks, is essential.Experience in Project Work: History of successful project delivery, particularly in risk management or Treasury-related projects.Regulatory Reporting: Experience in uplifting and improving regulatory reporting standards in line with changing regulatory requirements.Change and Risk Management: Ability to balance risk management and change management, driving improvements across the organization while maintaining a focus on risk mitigation.Stress Testing Capability: Experience in counterparty credit risk stress testing, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Desirable Qualifications:GCB Level: Ideally GCB 4 (Lead), but strong candidates at GCB 5 level will also be considered.Educational Background: A degree in Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
