If youre eager to build a career in mortgage broking and want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of nurses and healthcare professionals, wed love to hear from you!Position Overview:The Broker Associate will provide essential support to the broking team by assisting with client communications, follow-ups, documentation management, and loan processing. This role ensures a seamless lending experience for clients by efficiently managing administrative tasks, tracking the loan pipeline, and maintaining strong client engagement.Key Responsibilities:Client Communication & Follow-UpsAssist the broker in managing general email responses and inquiries.Follow up with nurture clients after appointments to maintain engagement.Track clients who have decided on products and ensure timely follow-ups.Draft responses to client questions, flagging those requiring broker input.Take messages for the broker during meetings and ensure prompt callbacks.Handle and monitor text message communications if required.Loan Processing Support & Pipeline ManagementMonitor the loan application pipeline and ensure all documentation is up to date.Conduct borrowing capacity calculations and policy research as needed.Follow up on nurture calls and document requests to keep applications moving.Identify and escalate urgent client matters requiring broker intervention.Client Experience & Issue ResolutionAssist the broker in addressing client escalations and ensure appropriate follow-ups.Proactively manage client expectations throughout the lending process.Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all client interactions.Qualifications:Strong communication and client service skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience in mortgage broking or financial services is highly regarded.Proficiency in CRM systems such as Mercury, Mystro & Microsoft Office Suite highly regarded.Problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to issue resolution.Ability to work independently while supporting the broker and broader team.Additional Requirements:Availability during business hours with flexibility based on client needs.Prior experience in financial services or mortgage broking preferred.Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys assisting brokers in delivering high-quality client service.
