Genus Industrial Services are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer for the Melbourne Renewable Energy Project.07th February, 2025Genus Industrial Services offers innovative and fully integrated mechanical, electrical & instrumentation services, bringing together solutions for all aspects of E&I and renewable energy projects.The Position:Genus Industrial Services are seeking a Commissioning Engineer for an immediate start on the Melbourne Renewable Energy Hub (MREH) project in Melbourne.Project Overview / Scope:Samsung C&T and Genus Industrial Services have formed a Joint Venture to deliver the Balance of Plant for the Melbourne Renewable Energy Hub Project. MREH is a large Battery Energy Storage System.The scope of work for this project is to design and construct the first stage of the project including all design and engineering, civil and electrical works to deliver this battery storage project.Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, the Commissioning Engineer responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Provide commissioning inputs into MREH project and designs, ensuring contract, budget, standard and procedure compliance.Develop commissioning plans in accordance with the project guidelines.Prepare and maintain commission records of site observations, testing processes and checklists.Compile and evaluate contractual commissioning statistics and report data for summarising in accordance with the needs of the project.Create and conduct testing procedures to ensure equipment works to its specification.Essential Skills / Qualifications/Experience:Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within construction, mining or resources.Demonstrated experience in engaging in technical working groups.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Behaviours that align with our values of Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, Safety and Mateship.Possess a strong commitment to behavioural safety and cultural change initiatives.Experience with budgeting and cost estimation.Skillful in effective communication and stakeholder engagement.Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Excel, Word.Demonstrated use of AutoCAD, Microstation or Solidworks.Knowledge of industry rules, regulations, best business practices and performance standards.In Return:Opportunity to join an ASX listed company with exciting growth targets.Salary Sacrifice.Company Employee Assistance Program.If after reviewing this advertisement you feel you are a good fit for the role and meet the listed criteria, APPLY NOWGenus Industrial Services values diversity and inclusion and we strongly encourage females and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.*Please note that due to high volumes of applications only those shortlisted will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
