Location - Virtual (Preferably based in the Northern Territory, with site visits to Tennant Creek 1 in every 4 weeks)Salary - $120,000 - $150,000 gross package + superannuationPosition- Full-timeAbout UsTennant Consolidated Mining Group Pty Ltd (TCMG) is a gold and copper resource company with an extensive exploration portfolio, including the Tennant Creek Goldfield. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Adviser/Senior Environmental Adviser to support our environmental approvals, compliance, and ESG framework implementation. This is a full-time role, reporting to the Environment & Approvals Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development and submission of environmental approvals applications, ensuring that technical documentation and reports meet regulatory requirements.Prepare and administer environmental management policies, plans, and operating procedures in support of approval activities.Assist the Environment and Approvals Manager in preparing technical studies, environmental impact assessments, and data collections necessary for approval applications and NT Environmental Mining Licences.Advise, educate, and support onsite staff and contractors to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations, performance management commitments, and statutory obligations.Prepare progress, monitoring, and compliance reports, including detailed assessments of key environmental indicators such as dust, water quality, and weed management.Oversee the management and administration of environmental performance-related data and records.Assist the Environment and Approvals Manager in managing third-party consultants involved in technical studies related to approvals and environmental assessments.Liaise with internal teams, regulatory authorities, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of technical data into approval applications.Conduct field inspections, environmental performance audits, and investigations, ensuring that operational activities are in line with approved environmental standards.Perform operational and administrative tasks related to environmental performance management, including onsite work as required.Support the ESG team in implementing the ESG framework, coordinating disclosure reporting, and ensuring alignment with sustainability objectives.Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Company, Senior Management, or the reporting manager.Qualifications and ExperienceTertiary qualifications in environmental science or a related field.Demonstrated experience in the mining or exploration sector, particularly within the NT context.Proven ability to support technical studies, environmental impact assessments, and approval applications.Strong understanding of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of environmental regulations and approval processes relevant to mining activities in the Northern Territory.Experience managing or coordinating third-party consultants and multidisciplinary teams is desirable.Why Join Us?Flexible Work Arrangements: Primarily virtual, with site visits to Tennant Creek every 4 weeksCareer Growth: Be part of an expanding mining company with exciting projectsImpactful Role: Support environmental approvals and sustainability in a dynamic industryHow to ApplySubmit your resume and a cover letter (Word or PDF format) outlining your suitability for the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
