The diverse team comes from a range of backgrounds, and they are looking for people who have the life experience to look beyond the resume and connect with employers to build sustainable outcomes for their participants.Key accountabilities include:Build and foster strong relationships with Employers, Community Groups, Health Care Professionals and Advocacy Groups to ensure that participants receive high-quality holistic support.Negotiate and develop individually tailored employment pathway plans with participants that maximize their independence, employment, social, and life skills.Engage, prepare, and address jobseeker vocational barriers to employment by negotiating education, training, and work experience activities in order to meet the skill shortages and local labour market opportunities.Support the brokerage of job placements and post-employment support to enable participants to achieve sustainable long-term employment.Skills and experience / essential criteriaExperience in employment support services or related mental health/community sector is highly regarded but not essential.Knowledge of local community agencies and the ability to identify and coordinate a range of appropriate services for participants.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated exposure to challenging conversations with participants, stakeholders, and employers.Ability to demonstrate self-reflection, resilience, and accountability within a dynamic case management role.Excellent prioritization and time management ability with a strong resilience capacity, and calmness when working in a dynamic target-driven environment.Due to the nature of our customers'' employment support needs, you may be required to work outside of normal business hours (on occasion) and will be required to hold a current driver''s license.
