You will feel empowered by a high level of autonomy while you oversee a wide portfolio of clients that will come to value you as a trusted advisor to their business.Your Responsibilities Will Include:Developing and maintaining client relationships.Manage a portfolio of clients and provide value added services.Prepare income tax returns and financial statements for individuals, private companies, trusts and superannuation funds.Undertake business advisory work, financial modelling, complex tax matters, succession planning, asset sales and acquisitions.Liaise with clients, managers and partners regarding queries.Attend to other business-related matters for clients within your portfolio e.g. fringe benefits tax, tax planning, payroll assistance and any other tax or business services related matters.Advise clients on business operations, regulatory matters, restructures, accounting system implementation, estate planning, succession planning.Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.Staying informed about industry developments and changes in accounting practices.Requirements:Degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce (majoring in accounting).CPA/CA preferred.Experience in public practice (preferred but not essential).Knowledge in Australian tax laws and regulations.Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Accounting Software including Xero, MYOB, Intuit.Ability to project manage with a goal orientated approach.Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.If you are a motivated individual, we encourage you to apply.
