As the Conditioning Monitoring Technician, you will be overseeing a number of fixed plant assets from Crushing to Port, liaising with numerous key stakeholders, providing expert advice all whilst adhering to MinRes Safety Process and Procedures. This is a full-time staff position working an 8:6 Roster and reporting directly to the Manager for Asset readiness.Key Responsibilities will include:Perform vibration analysis on rotating equipment such as motors, pumps, crushers, conveyors, and gearboxes. Interpret vibration data to identify potential faults and predict maintenance requirements.Collect and record vibration data and other relevant condition monitoring parameters. Generate detailed reports, highlighting equipment performance, faults detected, and any maintenance recommendations.Work closely with the maintenance team to prioritise equipment repairs and replacements based on condition monitoring data.Assist in developing and executing predictive maintenance programs. Use condition monitoring data to schedule maintenance activities and avoid unplanned downtime.Perform routine inspections of equipment, check for abnormalities, and ensure that all condition monitoring equipment is in proper working order.Adhere to MinRes safety procedures while conducting condition monitoring activities. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during the execution of tasks.What is required?Minimum 5-7 years of experience in condition monitoring, including vibration analysis of rotating equipment in a fixed plant environment.Mechanical Trade Certificate or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Experience working with various types of rotating equipment such as conveyors, crushers, screens, motors, gearboxes, and pumps. Capable of collecting, storing and reviewing condition monitoring data.Capable of generating reporting of all condition monitoring surveys in a timely manner with high quality.Knowledge of mechanical fault diagnosis, including misalignment, imbalance, bearing failure, and other mechanical issues.About Kens Bore (Onslow)The Onslow Iron project is a landmark pit-to-port operation that will span 150 kilometres east from Onslow towards the Kens Bore mine.
