Youll be at the heart of delivering impactful internal and external events that shape our peoples experience.What Youll Do:Assist with planning and executing high-profile events, from corporate milestones to key "Days of Significance" like World Mental Health Day and RU OK Day.Manage logistics, registrations, digital content, and event invitations to ensure seamless event delivery.Collaborate with the Events Lead to coordinate campaigns, working across internal teams and external vendors.Provide administrative support for large-scale projects and events.Handle event invoicing, payments, and inbox communication.Some domestic travel may be required.This is a full-time role on a twelve month secondment basis. Preferred location is Sydney (Gadigal country).ABOUT YOUYou are passionate about a career in Event ManagementSome previous experience and knowledge in a similar roleExcellent interpersonal and communications skills required to deliver outstanding events, within fixed timelines and to agreed budgetsEnthusiastic, highly organised, with superior attention to detail and forward planningPractical and action-oriented approach with the ability to respond quickly to changing briefs and circumstancesAbility to work with diverse stakeholder groupsPlanning work analysis and problem-solving highPersuasive/influencing and ability to work effectively in teamsKnowledge of event production and technical aspectsAbility to maintain the confidentiality of information gained in carrying out the roleAt least 1 to 2 years experience in corporate event management for a large ASX or similar listed entityEventsAIR software proficiency is highly desirablePrior experience using Microsoft Teams for virtual eventsGood knowledge of local event suppliers and venuesABOUT USInsurance Australia Group (IAG) is the largest general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand.
