We put the customer and our community at the centre of all that we do, ensuring our services are efficient and accessible.We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person who will undertake branding and graphic design activities at Hume City Council.What youll be doing:Brand Management: Keep Humes branding on point across all printed and digital content. Develop templates, guidelines, and procedures in line with our Brand, Signage and Writing Style Guides.Graphic Design: Create and deliver stunning visuals that speak to a diverse audience. Whether its event collateral, flyers, or social media graphics, youll craft designs that are impactful, creative, and aligned with our core values.Collaboration & Support: Work alongside other departments, guiding them on best practices for design and branding. Youll also be the go-to person for advice on keeping things fresh and on-brand.Creative Process: From concept to execution, you''ll oversee the entire creative process, ensuring everything is delivered on time and within budget.The skills and experience youll bring to the role:Creativity & Innovation: You''re a problem-solver with a knack for designing solutions that are not only beautiful but functional. Your designs are bold, yet refined, and they always tell a compelling story.Tech Savvy: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is your playground, and youre comfortable using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to stay organised.Attention to Detail: Whether you''re creating a flyer or a full campaign, you check your work twice, making sure everything is perfect down to the last pixel.Team Player: You collaborate well with others, whether it''s internal stakeholders or external suppliers.
