Key tasks of this role include:Ensuring the roster is functioning effectively and complying with relevant legislation and organisational guidelines;Accounting for and assisting with unplanned leave, short notice service requests and assisting to solve other daily scheduling problems as they arise in peak periods;Responding to daily enquiries from Support Workers and clients regarding their service schedule;Providing a high-quality customer centred service in a prompt and effective manner.Core CompetenciesStrong communication skills, (both written and verbal)Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced work environmentDemonstrated problem solving skillsHigh level of customer serviceQualifications and ExperienceA relevant qualification or attained previous experience in the community service/customer service sectorPrevious scheduling experience (desired)Other RequirementsAbility to commence at 7am daily (desired)A current C or CA class Drivers license (QLD)The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate entitlement to work in Australia, and to disclose any pre-existing injury or disease which may be adversely affected by undertaking the inherent requirements of the position.All offers of employment are subject to the satisfactory completion of relevant screening and background checks, including an Australian Federal Police check, an NDIS disability worker screening check, and attainment of a Blue Card for working with children, prior to commencement.About CatholicCareCatholicCare (formerly CentacareCQ) is a large, vibrant and well-respected not-for-profit organisation providing services across the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton.
