Working closely with the chefs and kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, assisting with equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys working as part of a team, and takes pride in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.QualificationsDishwashing & Cleaning:Operate dishwashing equipment to clean plates, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen utensils.Manually wash large kitchen equipment, including pots and pans, ensuring all items are sanitized.Maintain clean and dry floors in the kitchen area, promptly cleaning any spills to prevent hazards.Kitchen Maintenance & Organization:Clean and sanitize workstations, countertops, kitchen walls, and storage areas.Ensure garbage is disposed of properly and follow waste management procedures, including recycling.Assist in organizing and maintaining kitchen storage areas, including the proper handling and rotation of supplies.Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.Supporting the Kitchen Team:Assist chefs and kitchen staff by providing clean equipment and tools as needed.Occasionally support basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, or organizing ingredients.Work efficiently to minimize downtime and support the smooth operation of meal services.Health & Safety Compliance:Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with hotel policies and industry regulations.Follow workplace health and safety protocols, including safe handling of chemicals and equipment.Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.Additional InformationDiversity & Inclusion for Accor means welcoming each and everyone and respecting their differences by giving priority only to qualities and skills in extending employment and development opportunities.
