Our Home Care Services are underpinned by a Consumer Directed Care philosophy, giving you control over the types of care and services you receive, how theyre delivered, by whom, and when.Job DescriptionParkglen Home Care Services is seeking an experienced permanent full-time Scheduler to join our supportive and professional Home Care Scheduling Team.As a Scheduler at Parkglen, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating daily schedules for support staff and clients who receive home care package services.The Role requires excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be a key player in ensuring smooth operations by scheduling staff shifts, appointments, and any other activities that are crucial to the functioning of a consumer to support staying at home.The position offers career stability and a salary packaging option that increases your take-home pay! You will be part of a positive and supportive workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for employees and services.Coordinate and confirm service and appointments for consumers who hold a home care package.Monitor and adjust schedules to ensure optimal staffing and efficiency.Communicate with team members to ensure everyone is informed about schedule changes.Track and report on staffing levels and service needs.Handle any last-minute changes, cancellations, or urgent requests.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Provide administrative support to management where required.Comfortable working on a roster with on-call components for after-hours support.The Successful candidate will have:A driven approach to customer outcomes in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills - ability to communicate effectively over the phone.An ability to complete allocated duties in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner, as well as excellent prioritization and judgment practices.Understand the unique needs of each client with a proactive focus.The ability to handle personal information in a confidential and professional manner.The ability to engage and build relationships within the Scheduling Team, Support Workers, Care Facilitators, and Clients to ensure effective operation and increase service delivery.Previous rostering experience in the health or home and community services sector (HCP, NDIS, TAC, Aged Care) would be an advantage.Must hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Check.Must hold valid Australian work rights/visa.How to ApplyPlease submit your resume and cover letter outlining your experience and why you would be a great fit for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
