This is a critical part of the surgical process and the ability to work efficiently within a small team and manage pressing deadlines is crucial.Your duties will include, but not limited to:Maintain compliance with minimum requirements for equipment care, handling and re-processing.Maintain your competency standards in all sterilisation and decontamination processes.Adhere to sterilisation standards and relevant legislation affecting practice.Collaborate with Theatre & other CSSD staff to ensure timely equipment processing.Skills and ExperienceEnrolment in or completion of Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services is desirableMinimum of 2 years experience in Sterilising ServicesA comprehensive knowledge of CSSD processes and tasksAn understanding of relevant standards and AS5369 requirementsExperience in coordinating loan sets would be highly regardedAbility to deliver high-quality service through effective teamworkWhats in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
