Yulong Stud is experiencing an exciting period of growth, and with the addition of a new horse truck to our fleet, were seeking an experienced Equine Truck Driver to join our team at our prestigious stud farm in Nagambie, Victoria.This full-time role offers a great opportunity for someone with a passion for the thoroughbred industry to play a key part in transporting horses safely and efficiently. Youll be working Monday to Friday with rotating weekends, and occasional overtime will be required during the busy breeding season. On days without scheduled movements, youll assist with general stud duties.Your duties would include but not be limited to:Transporting horses safely and efficiently between farms, veterinary clinics, and other locationsMaintaining accurate truck logbooks and ensuring all documentation is up to dateKeeping the truck clean, well-maintained, and in good working orderReporting any incidents, defects, or maintenance needs promptlyAssisting with general stud duties on non-transport days to support farm operationsTo succeed in this role, you will have:Previous experience as an equine truck driverA clean driving record with a strong understanding of truck driving regulationsA valid truck drivers licenseProven experience handling horses of all ages and gendersA reliable, safe and hardworking nature with a keen eye for detailStrong communication skills and a professional, well-presented attitudeAt Yulong Stud, we offer a competitive remuneration package based on your experience.
