You''ll learn a trade and work towards a nationally accredited qualification while you work full-time.Available Trades:TelecommunicationsSubstationsRail TractionRail Maintainers (Electrical and Mechanical)Youre keen to learn a new trade and can commit to the on-the-job and formal learning requirements. You enjoy collaborating and working towards a common purpose with others and can communicate openly with your team members and leaders. Youre also accountable in terms of prioritising work and managing your time to ensure you carry out all your work and study commitments to a high standard.Minimum Requirements:Youre an Australian/NZ citizen or an Australian Permanent ResidentYoure available to commence full-time employment in January 2026You currently hold a Class C Drivers License or are in the process of obtaining one by January 2026Reliable transport to travel to the office/depot and field-based work locationsYoure comfortable with working at heights, in confined spaces, or in live traffic environmentsYoure willing to work outside regular working hours including nights and weekends as requiredWho we are:Transport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient Transport System.
