About the RoleThe Shed Manager is responsible for managing the operations of all production activities, ensuring the highest standards in production efficiency and quality assurance (QA). This role encompasses overseeing the receival, drying, bagging, and dispatching processes, along with the implementation of quality control procedures to ensure compliance with standards.This position demands a highly motivated and dedicated person to support the facility''s production processes. The ideal candidate will have worked in a fast-paced, high volume and demanding processing or production line facility. The role requires confidence in planning, problem solving, and managing a small team. A continuous improvement mind-set and ability to adapt to a changing environment is a must.Seize the opportunity to manage a brand-new production facility and assist in the final stages of setup with the support of the Business Manager, Production & QA Coordinator, and Freight Coordinator.Key Selection CriteriaExperience in a high-volume processing facility.Skilled in people management such as leading, coaching, and mentoring small to medium teams of people.Experience working across end-to-end logistics (receival and dispatch).Experience working with and maintaining processing machinery and equipment.Experience working with automation within food processing.Current Forklift Licence (desirable not essential).Availability to work nights/weekends for the duration of the season.Available to work over 40 hours to meet operational requirements during peak periods.Permanent work rights.Apply: #J-18808-Ljbffr
