As we embark on an exciting journey to establish a new brand in the market, we are seeking a talented and driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead this endeavor. The ideal candidate will formulate and implement the sales and marketing strategy for all student accommodation properties in Australia. Energetic, self-motivated, a natural leader yet analytical with a keen sense of commercial awareness, the selected individual will have the opportunity to be the key driving force in maximizing property revenue and curating unique student experiences in this newly-created position. Being a forward-thinking leader is key to this role, to prepare for the anticipated growth of our portfolio within the Australian market. Frequent travel within Australia is a requirement for this role.Job ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to promote student accommodations and drive brand recognition in Australia.Brand Development: Lead the creation and launch of a new brand, including brand positioning, messaging, service offering and identity.Lead the sales, marketing and residential life team, ensuring that our residential life program is constantly reflecting the needs of our residents and providing the level of experience which commensurate with our target market segment.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including targeted universities, colleges and potential customers.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors. Utilize insights to inform sales and marketing strategies and identify potential business opportunities.Sales Leadership: Oversee and manage the customer service team, setting targets, providing guidance, and driving performance to achieve revenue goals. Create sales and pricing strategies to maximize property revenue.Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum impact.Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that marketing and sales initiatives align with the needs and preferences of the student demographic. Review and improve all aspects of the leasing process.Lead all marketing efforts including planning and managing multi-channel integrated marketing communications campaigns & activities across online and offline, digital and on-ground media & platforms.Provide regular reporting on all Sales, Marketing and Residential Life activities.Job RequirementsProven experience in sales and marketing, with a strong track record of success in a leadership role.Experience in the sales function of an established student accommodation operator, or related experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.Relevant Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Commerce or Business preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Experience in digital media and marketing: able to brief and supervise internal and external partners to develop & manage websites and digital marketing activity (including GA, SEO, SEM, display, content and social media).Experience in global brands an advantage: understands need for global branding and knows how to work within existing global brand management systems and processes, to achieve greater consistency and efficiency.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Has initiative, drive and is results-oriented.Willing to travel within Australia.Multi-national environment: Excellent international exposure working with local, national and global colleagues.Opportunity to lead and shape a new brand in the market.Performance-based incentives.Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionAnalyst, Sales, and Business DevelopmentIndustriesHospitality #J-18808-Ljbffr
