Part-time, ongoing position as an Instrument Technician$36 per hour + 11.5% super + Salary PackagingMake a difference to peoples lives and join DHSV!We have an opening for an instrument technician to join our team for 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will work rotating shifts and be rostered over 7 days.At Dental Health Service Victoria, we give our clinical staff the balance they need to achieve their ambitions in both home and work life. Our people are open and collaborative so we can work together to learn on the job and solve complex problems like nowhere else.The key responsibility of this role is to provide cleaning, disinfecting and sterilising instruments and equipment for the provision of dental treatment at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.You will be responsible for:Prioritisation of workload and completion of all CSSD daily activities to provide a high-quality end product to our clientsEnsure that the appropriate standard of practice and adherence to National & International Standards is maintainedEnsure that instruments and equipment are properly maintained, and adequate stores are heldDelivery of equipment to the appropriate work areasCollection or receipt of soiled equipment from work areasAbout you:Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or equivalent awarded by a registered training organization approved by the AICKnowledge of CSSD procedures, safety requirements and the principles of prevention of cross contaminationStrong knowledge of Infection Control Standards AS 5369:2023, Reprocessing of reusable medical devices and other devices in health and non-health related facilities & ACHS Requirements.Why work at DHSV?Its the people who make the difference at DHSV!
