Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and resolve invoices through the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) platform, ensuring accurate and timely input of supplier invoices. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.What you''ll do:As an Accounts Payable Officer, your primary responsibility will be managing and resolving invoices that have not been automatically processed through the EDI platform. You will ensure accurate and timely input of supplier invoices either via the EDI platform or through manual entry. Your role will involve processing invoices, matching them with purchase orders, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues promptly. You will also liaise with various teams to ensure seamless operation of the EDI platform.Process AP (Accounts Payable) invoices, ensuring they match purchase orders accurately.Review and work through the Goods Receipt Note (GRN) list to match invoices with GRNs as provided.Identify and investigate invoices that could not be processed automatically through the EDI platform and resolve issues promptly.Monitor and respond to queries from branches or suppliers via the EDI email inbox.Liaise with the Reconciliations team to review and address EDI supplier reconciliations, providing feedback on invoices that could not be processed.Investigate and resolve discrepancies between supplier invoices and purchase orders, coordinating with branches as necessary.What you bring:The ideal Accounts Payable Officer will bring proven experience in processing and reconciling AP invoices. Your strong attention to detail will ensure accuracy in data entry while your excellent communication skills will enable effective liaison with branches, suppliers, and internal teams.
