About the roleAt an exciting time to join Scores Production team, we are looking for a Machinist who shares our passion and drive for excellence and success within our Australian operations.The Machinist will be responsible for the onsite execution of flange repair of damaged joints and other machining requirements to Industry and Client Standards & Specifications, whilst maintaining the highest level of HSE and Quality compliance. The applicant must be willing to work on client sites when required and then in Score Groups Darwin Facility.This position is a Full-time position, with candidates residing permanently within the Northern Territory. The ability to travel interstate and possibly internationally for specific work scope demands is an integral part of this role. All applicants will undertake a pre-employment medical and recruitment checks.If you are an experienced Onsite Machinist, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to support us in providing our clients with the high-quality service they are accustomed to.What you will bring to the team at ScoreTechnical SkillsOnsite Flange Machining and repairPrecision MeasurementSelection of tooling & EquipmentCorrect selection and use of measuring equipmentAbility to interpret engineering drawings and specificationsFamiliar with process plant maintenance worksAdditional Desirable skillsFlange AssemblyControlled bolting, torque & tensionResponsibilitiesEnsuring quality and timely execution of worksPerform daily maintenance of equipmentMaintaining effective communication with the client representative and Facility Team LeaderCompliance on all required company and client documentationExperience2 years Flange Management experience (assembly, torque & tension works) desirableManual Machining operationsQualifications, Licenses and TrainingCurrent Trades qualification in Fitting & Machining or relevant technical qualification in a similar mechanical disciplineCurrent or willing to obtain Maritime Security Identification Card (MISC)Current or willing to obtain OPITO Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)Current or willing to complete OGUK or equivalent medical certificateCurrent or willing to complete Working at heights and confined space trainingCurrent Australian Working rights with no restrictionsBehaviours and skillsetProven team player with the ability to coach and energise othersCritical thinking and good analytical skillsHands-on approach and proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesCommitment to continual improvement and a flexible approach to changeSelf-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering HSEQ excellenceAbout UsWith facilities in over thirty locations spanning five continents, Score employs more than 2000 people, including 230 apprentices.
