Seeking several Karratha based personnel for multiple Field Officer roles starting 11 March 2025.Your New CompanyA government organisation based in Karratha, are seeking multiple hard-working individuals to work as a Field Surveillance Officer responding to a major incident project. This position will involve working between offices and different site locations across the Karratha area, and you will be required to work full-time hours Monday to Friday, from 6.30am to 3pm. You must be available to interview at the start of March in Karratha, to then commence Tuesday 11 March 2025.Your new roleDutiesAs the Field Officer, you will be responsible for responding to biosecurity reports across the Karratha area. Your duties will include:Surveillance, destruction and disposal of pestsSurveying vegetation and water sources for signs of pestsMaintaining resources and records of findingsComplying with incident plans, policies and proceduresWhat You''ll Need To SucceedIn order to be considered, you must have:The ability to perform manual labour tasks, as well as being comfortable in working in extreme conditions, such as high temperatures and noisy areasThe ability to communicate your findings effectively (oral and written)A current driver''s licence and your own vehicle to get to the office in KarrathaA National Police Clearance from the last 6-monthsThe ability to provide 2 employment references, one from the last 12-monthsIn addition to the above, you must be based in Karratha and must have unlimited work rights.
