To deliver accessible, high-quality aged care services that positively impact lives.Role Overview:Were on the lookout for a sharp-eyed Payroll Officer to join our Payroll Team which manages the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 2000 staff across residential aged care, Care at Home, retirement village, and head office. This role demands more than just number crunching; it requires a keen understanding of and ability to apply relevant legislation in the context of all things payroll. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, efficiently addressing the needs of both internal staff and external partners to maintain effective, accurate and compliant payroll operations.Key Responsibilities:Process end-to-end payroll, including wages, workers'' compensation, long service leave and parental leave.Calculate and process terminations with precision.Be the go-to person for payroll queries, providing swift and accurate responses.Maintain meticulous payroll records and ensure unwavering compliance.Reconcile and process leave entitlements, superannuation, and PAYG.Seamlessly onboard new starters and keep BAU tasks ticking along.Deliver top-notch customer experience to all stakeholders.Stay ahead of the curve with payroll legislation and policy updates.Embrace ongoing training and development to keep your payroll knowledge razor sharp.Champion continuous improvement in our payroll processes.Qualifications and Experience:Proven track record in processing payroll for 2000+ employees.A solid grasp of payroll processes, taxation, superannuation, and Fair Work legislation.Eagle-eyed attention to detail and accuracy.Cool under pressure with a knack for meeting tight deadlines.Excellent communication with exceptional customer service skills.Current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).Ideal if you have experience with Preceda.Relevant qualifications in payroll or accounting (desirable).Experience in Aged Care, community or disability sector/s.Experience working in the not-for-profit sector (desirable).What We Offer:A workplace where camaraderie and support go hand in hand.17.5% annual leave loading more spending money for holidays.Prime location - 3-5 minutes walk from Town Hall and Gadigal stations.Boost your take-home pay with the ability to tap into ''not for profit'' salary packaging (up to $15,900).How to Apply:Ready to take on this challenging role?
