Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic individual who is keen to engage with a diverse range of clients including children, teenagers and adults.Employee benefits:Insurance covered.Free gym membership at North Queensland Cowboys High Performance Centre and Douglas gym facilities.Box seats at Townsville Fire WNBL home games.Half-day every Friday.New modern office and accessing our beautiful surroundings using active counselling techniques.Administrative support.Responsibilities:Manage an established caseload of clients.Provide psychological support with a mix of private health care clients, mental health care plans, NDIS and high performance athletes.Work across both clinics in our Douglas and Townsville City locations.Deliver a wide range of psychological assessments and reports to clients.Engage clients in fun, dynamic interventions including active counselling (e.g. walking with clients).Collaborate in a team of 3 Psychologists and manage your own client case load with internal supervision provided.External supervision and professional development flexibility.Have fantastic interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn and an open mind to delivering fun and engaging interventions with our clients.Maintain clear and precise case notes and report writing skills.Skills and experience:Registration as a Provisional or Registered Psychologist (AHPRA registered).Valid QLD Working with Children Check.National Criminal history check certificate.If this sounds like a role that aligns with your values, we would love to hear from you.
