You will ensure accurate asset tracking and compliance with accounting standards, supporting efficient financial reporting for the organisation.What will you be doing in your new role:Process asset additions, disposals, and transfers into the fixed asset register promptlyPerform period-end close procedures for assets, depreciation/amortisation, and accrualsProvide invoice coding and guidance for capital and maintenance purchasesMaintain period-end balance sheet reconciliations and resolve queriesEnsure integrity and accuracy of the fixed asset registerCollaborate with construction, property, and operational teamsApply knowledge of accounting and tax depreciation rates and methodsReconcile general ledger balances with the fixed asset sub-ledgerPrepare asset-related disclosures for half-year and year-end accountsAssist in audit preparation and process/system improvementsAbout You:Bachelors degree in accountancyRecently completed or ability to commence studying towards CPA/CAPrevious experience working within an Accounting /Asset Accounting environmentAdvanced computer and MS skills, specifically within ExcelDemonstrated commercial experience (Highly desirable)Previous experience with JD Edwards desirable, but not essentialExceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teamsSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects effectivelyHow to Apply:If you are ready to bring your marketing expertise and passion for growth to a thriving company, we want to hear from you!
