A newly created Finance Manager role in a growing e-commerce business.Your new companyOur client is a dynamic and fast-growing company in the retail industry, specialising in e-commerce. They have gone through significant growth and are now looking to support this growth with a newly created Finance Manager position.Your new roleThe Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will manage a team of four finance professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in the retail sector, with a strong preference for those with e-commerce experience. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.Responsible for all international sales matters including tax, consolidation and management of accounts and dealing with advisors.Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.Provide strategic financial advice and support to the CFO and senior management team.Manage and mentor a team of four finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.Support the implementation of financial systems and software.What you''ll need to succeedBachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA or CPA required.Experience in a finance management role within the retail industry, with a strong preference for e-commerce experience.Experience with IFRS, dealing with overseas Tax and advisors.Proficiency in Mandarin is essential.Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Proven ability to manage and develop a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency using Xero and Microsoft Office Suite.Experience using Shopify would be advantageous.What you''ll get in returnProduct discounts!Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A collaborative and supportive work environment.Enjoy a vibrant and engaging office culture, working 5 days a week in our Alexandria office.
