Whether its connecting our customers with relevant content through digital innovation, omni-channel storytelling or impactful advertising that reaches 98% of Australians, our Marketing team play an important role in driving our brand forward, helping Australians eat and live better every day.About the roleA rich opportunity as Category Marketing Manager has arisen within our Customer Insights & Planning team (Central Marketing) to partner with our Grocery Business unit (BU), the largest at Coles including Impulse, Beverages, Breakfast & Health and Pantry categories.As the voice of the customer, this role works across the Commercial and Customer teams ensuring that together we bring incredible customer moments to life, to build trust and drive trade.Applications close Tuesday 25th of February.What youll be doingReporting to the Senior Marketing Manager in Grocery you will work cross-functionally to lead the collective efforts of Commercial, Suppliers, Coles 360 Media partners, Digital, Operations and Marketing teams to develop and deliver customer-centric campaigns and initiatives.Youll alsoBuild and manage the Grocery Customer Calendar.Lead the development and implementation of marketing initiatives and campaigns.Identify opportunities, develop solutions, and improve customer experience across the Grocery customer omnichannel experience.Advocate and support the BU Own Brand strategy and key supplier trade plans.Build strong relationships and use your influencing skills to drive the marketing strategy.About you and your skillsWere after an experienced customer-centric Marketer who can lead cross-functional teams to bring things to life in an impactful way.Coming from a Retail or FMCG marketing background, you are known for your planning focus, attention to detail, and ability to drive results across an organisation whilst working with ambiguity.Youll also needProven experience developing and implementing marketing strategy and campaign management.Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.Passion, resilience, agility, and pace.Extra Brownie points if you have eCommerce/ Digital knowledge.Whats in it for you?Flexible working options: We know that work is only one part of your life, so we actively encourage a positive work-life balance and provide hybrid working options to help you achieve it.Office perks: Take advantage of our gym facility and fitness classes, free parking, BBQ area, mini-Coles supermarket, fooderie hub where you can sample new products before they hit the shelves, school holiday program and so much more when you come in.Discounts: Eligible team members receive 5% discount all year round on your Supermarket and Liquor online and in-store purchases.
