Do you want to work for a leading national not-for-profit organisation providing dedicated human and social services to a diverse Australia?With community at the heart of everything we do, our purpose is to create a world in which everyone has access to equal opportunities.About YouThe Operational Support Officer for Humanitarian Settlement Program (HSP) & Settlement Services (SETS) will provide high-quality operational and administrative services to support the Head of HSP and SETS and their respective leadership teams.Responsibilities:Anticipate, organise and coordinate workflow through email and diary management, prepare and manage all correspondence, and meetings, take minutes at key meetings and liaise with all SSI offices.Assess and prioritise requests to facilitate the optimal use of the executives time.Coordinate media and speaking engagements by managing inquiries, invitations, and liaising with Marketing and Communications staff to prioritise opportunities and make recommendations to the Head of HSP and head of SETS.Draft and prepare correspondence, collate relevant reports, papers and materials, prepare high-level PowerPoint presentations, speeches, and undertake research to support meetings and speaking engagements.Gather, collate and provide background information to the Heads of to support informed decision-making and planning.Qualifications:Qualifications in business administration or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years experience in a personal or executive assistant role working directly with a senior manager.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Demonstrated ability to manage up.Excellent verbal communication and highly developed interpersonal skills and diplomacy.High-level customer service and attention to detail.About UsSettlement Services International (SSI Group) is a community-based organisation and social business that supports newcomers and Australians to achieve their full potential.
