You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.Your work will be centred on our landform design offering, but it will also encompass mine closure planning within the broader Mine Closure team. You will plan, assign, and supervise the work of others. Motivate and train staff to accomplish goals and meet deadlines. Compile and analyze technical planning data. Prepare and present clear, concise reports. Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.What youll do:Prepare and manage project schedules to support the delivery of landform design, mine closure and other geo-environmental studies.Undertake designs utilizing WSPs bespoke landform design and erosion assessment software, together with engineering designs using commercial engineering software.Support the monitoring and allocation of key resources across studies and projects through the establishment and maintenance of a portfolio of projects in each phase of pursuit and execution such as identification, proposal, execution, and closeout.Review reports and other outputs and provide technical input into a diverse range of projects and ensure that work produced complies with quality system and client requirements.Support the preparation and costing of high-quality proposals.Work proactively with mining clients to build effective networks and industry relationships.Network with existing and potential clients to identify upcoming opportunities.Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure team members achieve their goals and project deadlines.Foster a positive team environment and promote professional development within the team.About YouBachelor''s degree (Civil Engineering) or equivalent relevant tertiary education (Certificate, Diploma and/or Degree) related to civil/agricultural/environmental engineering.Experience on both major mining projects, as well as smaller brownfields sustaining capital projects.Demonstrated experience in mine closure planning, and major bulk earthworks related projects.Independent thinker able to challenge norms, develop new ideas and keen to progress environmentally sustainable engineering solutions.Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work virtually and face-to-face within a team environment, including the motivation and development of others within your team.A commitment to diversity, environment, health, safety, and society.Balances innovation, quality, and technical excellence with delivery to timelines and cost.Open to receiving and providing constructive feedback.Flexible to meet project outcomes.Manages self and others under pressure.Future-minded and strategic.Quality and cost-focused.Ability to program in Python (or another language) would be an advantage.With us, you can.
