This role is responsible for achieving sales targets, operational excellence and managing resources within stores to provide customers with a leading shopping experience.Your ImpactSales & OmniEstablish and execute a comprehensive, omni-channel strategic plan to achieve planned sales and KPIsAnalyze reporting and daily sales trends to make real-time strategic and tactical business decisions to drive resultsDrive the business through customer service, human resources, inventory control, and store environmentBrand Image & Customer ExperienceAct as the leader on duty and model the brands Athlete service standards and selling behaviorsBuild loyalty through in-store experience, data capture, endless aisle, and other omni-channel solutionsRetail OperationsDirect the handling of merchandise, shipment receipt, processing, floor sets, markdown, and replenishmentReview store audit compliance and shrink results are meeting company loss prevention standardsSupport and evaluate Retail Store Managers in adjustments to payroll and schedule to achieve payroll & sales targetsPartner with Store Managers on performance management tools and business strategyMonitor resources and provide recommendations/input on the annual operating budgetProvide performance feedback and unit strategy input to Store Leadership for all stores within area of responsibilityLeadership & Team Collaboration/ManagementMotivate and inspire the team through Under Armours Values, Core Competencies, and functional behaviorsCommunicate expectations for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standardsBuild relationships with teammates and leadership to implement positive changeConduct Store leadership huddles and empower leaders to hold Team Shift HuddlesManage store census targets to support optimal staffing for performance, partnering with talent team to recruit, hire, develop and retain high performing store teamMentor the store leadership team in the completion of Division of Responsibilities to develop future leadersProvide performance insights to Store Manager through ongoing feedback and formal reviewsDevelop succession plans creating career paths for teammates to pursue internal opportunitiesMonitor output of direct reports across stores and completion of daily responsibilitiesCollaborate with the Store Manager to resolve teammate challengesSupport the Store Managers in the annual review process for teammatesEngage in compensation decisionsDrive teammate engagement by recognizing and rewarding performance and giving feedback and/or action planning on substandard performanceQualificationsExpert-level knowledge in retail industryFluency in local language and EnglishBasic knowledge of employment laws including compliance with federal, state, and local requirementsStrong communication, presentation, delegation, and follow-up skills as well as customer service focusRobust prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving & planning skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze business trends and reporting to drive salesDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environmentDemonstrated proficiency in sales generation, training, and leading of functional teamsRequirementsMinimum of 5 years experience in a sports/apparel & footwear retail environmentMinimum 2 years of retail leadership experience with similar responsibilitiesAbility to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekendsAbility to travel between stores in regionPhysical RequirementsAbility to handle or relocate products up to 25 lbs/12kgsAble to stand and move about for extended periods of time with short breaks to handle productsAbility to freely access all areas of the store; including the selling floor, stock and register areaReasonable accommodations may be made to assist in performing the essential responsibilitiesOur Commitment to DiversityAt Under Armour, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, pregnancy (including childbirth, lactation and related medical conditions), national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information (including characteristics and testing), military and veteran status, family or paternal status and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
