Your key responsibilities will include:Acting as the responsible person for the service, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.Creating a safe, inclusive environment where children and staff feel supported and valued.Managing childrens attendance and bookings, ensuring proper supervision at all times.Leading and mentoring educators to ensure the smooth running of the program.Assisting in the planning and delivery of educational and recreational programs that inspire childrens curiosity.Sharing the childrens experiences and growth with families, strengthening those vital connections.Building strong relationships with the school community and families to foster a sense of belonging and support.This is a permanent, part-time position with 33 hours per week (Term Time Only).About YouWere looking for someone who:Holds a qualification in Child Education and Care (Highly Desired).Has prior experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).Holds a Certificate in Child Protection training.Possesses current First Aid certification.Has a valid NSW Working with Children Check (or is willing to obtain one).Has the right to work in Australia (visa sponsorship is not available).About Sydney Catholic Early Childhood ServicesSydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing high-quality education and care in Catholic schools and parishes.
