Your proven ability to train, mentor, and inspire kitchen teams will be central as we refine systems and workflows that ensure consistent excellence. Working alongside our Kitchen Manager, you''ll have the opportunity to build this role into something truly exceptional.Key Responsibilities:Build and lead a high-performing kitchen team through intensive training and mentorshipDevelop and implement comprehensive training systems for consistent recipe executionDrive operational excellence during peak service periods through effective leadership and communicationCreate and maintain detailed workflow systems that ensure quality and efficiencyImplement and oversee quality control measures across all kitchen operationsWork with executive management to optimize new menu items for service efficiencyFoster a positive kitchen culture focused on continuous improvement and excellenceRequired Skills & Experience:Proven track record in leading high-volume kitchen teams through busy service periodsDemonstrated expertise in developing and implementing staff training programsExceptional understanding of workflow optimization and kitchen efficiencyStrong history of maintaining consistent quality standards across large teamsCommercial Cookery Certificate III or equivalent qualification strongly regardedAdvanced knowledge of food safety systems and quality control measuresExcellent communication and team leadership abilitiesPackage:Base salary $66,150 - $80,000 (experience dependent) per annum (excluding superannuation)This is a specialist role for a leader who understands that success in the kitchen comes from building strong teams, maintaining consistent standards, and creating systems that enable excellence.
