We are currently seeking Expressions of Interests for our Mechanic roles at our Kewdale and South Metro Depots.Your Role in ActionAt our Kewdale depot, youll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of Western Power''s mobile plant equipment. Your responsibilities will include:Repairing, stripping down, and rebuilding heavy machineryConducting major overhauls to ensure optimal performanceMaintaining equipment to meet both manufacturer specifications and Australian Standards, ensuring safety and reliability.At our South Metro depot, you will focus on the repair, servicing, and maintenance of Western Power''s heavy vehicle road transport and plant machinery. Your key tasks will include:Performing routine and major repairs on road transport vehicles and plant equipmentEnsuring all machinery operates efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.What Makes You a Great FitBase Trade qualification (AQF3) in Heavy Duty Mechanical applications Heavy automotive / plant mechanicalDemonstrated industry experience as a Heavy vehicle / Mobile Plant MechanicExperienced in diagnosis and repair of hydraulics / low voltage electrical.Highly developed teamwork skills Must be able to work as part of a high performing team.Valid WA C class licence (essential)High Risk licence class EWP (Desirable)High Risk licence class Dogging (Desirable)High Risk licence class Forklift (Desirable)Motor Vehicle Repairers Certificate classes HVW and LVW (willing to obtain within the first 6 months)By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
