The CompanyJoin a medium size construction firm that has been operating in the Australian market for over 60 years.Benefit from working in a team that takes pride in the projects they deliver, consistently live by their company values, and strive to support local business to strengthen economic growth in regional areas.Sectors covered include Aged Care, Government and general commercial valued to $40M.PositionReporting into the Site Manager, you will help oversee the completion of a $15M Aged Care or Allied Health project in the Ballina region.The scope of works will include a complete refurbishment of an existing premises with some new build elements. You will likely only complete a 5-day working week unless special out-of-hours tasks are required.The site will be operational throughout the upgrade, so the successful candidate will understand how to operate in live environments and be good at dealing with site and public safety.The Project Management team will be based out of Sydney and will regularly visit the site to provide support.This is a full-time role with forward work after the completion of this project.BenefitsSalary package of between $160K 180K.The Sydney management team have been working within the organisation for 10+ years, are easy-going, open-minded, and have created a favourable working environment.You will benefit from working across complex/interesting refurbishments and new builds on projects valued between $10M - $40M.Background / ExperienceTrade with additional tertiary building qualification advantageous.Demonstrated ability to have independently delivered projects in excess of $10M, ideally more than 2 or 3 from start to finish.Experience working on refurbishment projects in the commercial sector.Ability to build relationships and manage personnel to operate cohesively in a team environment.Strong technical, planning & programming skills.Extensive knowledge around logistical planning in live environments.Good safety & company system management skills.If you feel you meet the above criteria and are interested to find out more, please call Carmel Jones, Associate Director @ CGC Recruitment on 0428 433 876, send your CV to carmel.jones@cgcrecruitment.com or apply for the position below.All applications will be received in confidence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
