We have been the Australian market leader for specialised welding equipment rental for over a decade and have been the trusted supply partners on several of the countrys largest Mining and Oil & Gas projects such as Gorgon, Roy Hill, Olympic Dam and Ichthys.We are proud to operate a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.Who are we looking for?We are seeking a high performing technically strong electrical leading hand to lead our Wacol team in a hands-on capacity and keep our equipment Performance Ready ensuring we support our clients'' construction and maintenance projects as well as major shutdown events.Our diverse range of equipment could see you commissioning an induction heating package one day, servicing a diesel generator power station the next or deployed on a major shutdown or construction project to maintain and service our equipment. You will not find yourself wanting for excitement as every mobilisation of our tailored equipment packages requires your expertise and passion to customise the package to our clients'' needs, while delivering to a standard our competitors cannot match.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor and coach our teamsSchedule and coordinate activitiesWorking with LV Generators, Renewable BESS Systems, Switch Boards and weldersThe role will focus on repair, Controller Wiring, Service and repair of Generators and weldersLoad Test and commission a variety of generator and welder modelsWork on site to recertify and install and commission generators, electrical distribution systems, welding and shutdown related equipment.Maintain the levels of all required materials and ensure the appropriate resources are available and maintained.Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to improve the reliability of equipment.Carry out effective troubleshooting to minimise downtime and train our techniciansMaintain and foster relationships and communication with internal and external customers.Provide technical support to the Sales Team when required.Why should you join us?This is an inspired workplace where you can feel safe, engaged, and productive.
