Youll see what a difference your furry friend can make.As you''re bringing your pet into a care environment with frail and elderly residents, we ask that your pet is:Calm, patient and gentle in natureUp-to-date with vaccinations and treatment of worms and fleasNails should be short and blunt. Freshly cut nails can be sharp if not filed down.Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times.Your impactVolunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself.
