We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our Catering Team.Working under the leadership of our Catering Manager and with our Sous Chef, the Kitchen Hand will provide support in ensuring the delivery of services from within our Father Brian Newing Caf to our Students, Staff, and Education and Care Centre.Kitchen Duties:General food preparation and cleaning duties.Receiving, accepting, and storing deliveries, including checking temperatures of cold store items.Assembling food baskets for Boarding units.Maintaining supplies and drinks in the Dining Room.Cleaning Duties:Daily dish-washing.General cleaning including emptying rubbish bins, cleaning cooking appliances and store-room.Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food safety standards.Maintaining cleanliness in the Dining Room.Desirable Qualities:Relevant qualifications and experiences will be accepted. Applicants should demonstrate experience in a similar cooking and catering role. A friendly, customer service attitude towards work, along with the ability to work within a team are also desirable.
