The successful applicant must be highly motivated and able to work as part of a team. They will be responsible for ensuring that Plant and Equipment on site is properly maintained, operates reliably and is operationally ready.Main DutiesCarry out all practical maintenance tasks on site to ensure all plant and equipment is well maintained, regularly serviced and recorded/checked for so it is available for operational use.Respond to calls for assistance from staff in the event of mechanical defect or failure of any plant or equipment.Undertake such repairs that are practicable and organise repairs by liaising with contractors where appropriate.Assisting with and supervising where required the installation of new plant and equipment, ensuring the contractors work is of the required standard and to our specifications and raising permits to work where applicable.Undertake Portable Appliance Testing (P.A.T) of electrical equipment and maintain records.
