Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) TrainerOur client is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEE Trainer to join our Education & Training team in the Tiwi Islands. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to make a real impact by improving the language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills of job seekers in the community.The SEE Program is a government-funded initiative designed to equip eligible participants with essential skills to enhance their employability and further education opportunities. The SEE Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality training while ensuring compliance with ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority) and Department of Employment & Workplace Relations (DEWR) requirements.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective training sessions in accordance with the SEE Program timetable.Support participants with their learning needs, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.Conduct Pre-Training LLND Assessments and develop individual learning plans.Monitor and manage student attendance, progress, and engagement.Provide supervision for participants and ensure adherence to Client Code of Conduct and Privacy Notice.Assist students with SEE and various VET programs.Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative records, including attendance, suspensions, withdrawals, and incident reporting.Ensure compliance with all TITEB policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.About You:To be successful in this role, you will have:Strong knowledge of adult Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) teaching methodologies.Understanding of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) and Digital Literacy Skills Frame (DLSF).Demonstrated experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or Adult Literacy/Numeracy.Proven record to engage and support learners from diverse needs, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.Recent practical experience in ESL or Adult LLND training.Strong digital literacy skills and the ability to teach digital skills to others.A passion for community development and education.Excellent facilitation, communication, and organisational skills.Qualifications:Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116).An undergraduate education degree and/or a recognised qualification in TESOL or equivalent.The Opportunity:Work in a meaningful role that directly impacts individuals and the broader community.Use your teaching expertise to motivate and upskill community members.Identify barriers to learning and implement effective strategies to support student success.Contribute to the ongoing development of education and training opportunities in the Tiwi Islands. #J-18808-Ljbffr
