They will also assist with effective rostering, mentoring and training of all casual and fulltime BOH team members with safe chemical usage, storage and cleaning of all kitchen equipment.Based at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, with time spent at Canterbury Park Racecourse where required.THE RIGHT FITTo be successful in this role, the right fit will possess:A collaborative and supportive approach at all timesProven Experience in the effective cleaning of a large catering venueA good knowledge and understanding of the correct storage and use of chemicals and appropriate PPE when using chemicals.A sound knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and HACCP principles this will also be taught on the job as part of growth and developmentAn ability to effectively manage time and meet event-based deadlinesA good eye for identifying maintenance problems and managing any potential health and safety issuesExperience or a willingness to learn how to develop and grow junior team member capabilityIf you believe you are the right fit and possess and can demonstrate our values day to day, then come join us.
