A newly defined National Business Manager opportunity with a leading Australian agrifoods organisation.The National Business Manager is a business critical appointment, tasked with managing and growing relationships with key customers whilst identifying and bringing to fruition new business opportunities. The role will be accountable for the delivery of agreed business plans and metrics (sales revenue, volume and profitability) and ensure customer satisfaction and supply.Reporting to the CEO, the National Business Manager will lead customer management/development across Retail Grocery and Wholesale and play a pivotal cross-functional role in facilitating and executing the EPD and NPD agenda.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as their primary point of contact for all business-related matters.Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth, and identify new business opportunities.Conduct regular business reviews with customers to assess their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their objectives.Collaborate with internal teams including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless delivery of products/services and exceptional customer experience.Identify opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue generation.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities.Prepare and present reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights to internal stakeholders.Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions.Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver timely solutions.Manage new product development by seeking feedback and insights from customers, contributing to the development of new products/services.ABOUT YOUEstablished FMCG sales and account management skills to manage key accounts and achieve revenue targets.Strong industry knowledge and understanding of market dynamics ideally fresh produce or fresh food.A sharp and commercial mindset/acumen.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, understand their needs, and build long-term relationships.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify customer challenges, propose innovative solutions, and drive business growth.Strong negotiation and influencing skills to navigate complex customer relationships and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.Exceptional organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.High energy, passion, and a hunger for success.Can do and hands on.Energy and drive.A keen relationship builder.Enterprise-wide in your thinking.Honest and open.For the established NBM or high performing NAM with experience in either fresh produce or fresh food looking for an entrepreneurial remit in an agile business, please apply now.This opportunity is on site and available to those with full Australian working rights and who already reside in the Greater Sydney area.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeIndustriesManufacturing and Food and Beverage Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
