We are a well-respected and experienced head contractor with a strong, professional reputation, as well as transparent and honest relationships with other businesses within our industry.The Role:As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to join our team and passionately lead our projects, from inception to client handover.In this role you will be managing several projects simultaneously, with a wide range of timelines and budgets of up to $5 million, primarily across commercial workplace fit outs and heavy refurbishment sectors.Experience and Qualifications:Qualifications in Construction Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant disciplineMinimum 5 years experience as a senior construction professional i.e. Project Manager or similar roleStrong Leadership and Communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders effectivelyConstruction Induction White CardProficient in Procore is highly regardedResponsibilities:Managing projects in line with project documentation, considering quality and safety requirements throughout the delivery process.Development of construction program and methodology to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective way of construction is chosen.Establishing and monitoring contract and target programs, determining project specific risks, goals, and opportunities.Managing project resources in conjunction with the State Manager.Chairing team meetings, project control groups (PCGs), subcontractor meetings in accordance with management plans.Controlling projects on and off site, while always managing stakeholder relationships and expectations.Managing compliance with WHS, workplace injury management and workers compensation legislation, regulations, standards and codes, safe work method statements and the site safety rules.Tracking and managing costs to exceed project financial margin targets while demonstrating a strong commercial acumen throughout the entirety of all projects.Managing of variations and scope changes, while preparing monthly financial reports for review by the State Manager and Managing Director.Carrying out value management processes and seeking alternatives to increase project profitability.Motivating and mentoring team members to achieve project objectives.What we can offer you:Opportunity to work on exciting and diverse projects across MelbourneCompetitive salary package and career development opportunitiesClose-knit team environment in newly fitted out office spaceAccess to a range of employee benefits to support your wellbeingIf this sounds like you, please apply to this job advert directly and a member of our HR team will be in touch.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.Agencies: We have preferred recruitment partners in place and will be unable to accept any speculative inquiries.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProject Management and Information TechnologyConstruction #J-18808-Ljbffr
