If you are experienced in the early childhood, OSHC and/or disability support sectors and passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families, this role is for you.The Role:This role is full-time - 38 hours a week - 10.00am - 6.06pm during term time where the role is a combination of administration hours and in-service hours. 9.00am - 5.06pm during school Holiday program where you would be completely in ratio in-service hours.Co-lead, train and guide in best practice to deliver the highest quality care for every child in carePlan and prepare child-focused programs for school-aged children in a specialist school settingContribute to compliance such as the Quality Improvement Plan etcHigh staff to student ratio to ensure every childs individual needs are metProvide children with the opportunity to explore, learn and play and have funMaintain a safe environment for all children, families and staffExtensive training and onboarding with ongoing supportCareer development and progression pathwaysGenerous resource budgetsBe the face of TheirCare in your school community, creating lasting relationships along the waySkills and Experience:The ideal candidate for the 2IC role will have the following:Experience with training, coaching and management of a large teamExperience and confidence in the disability support and childcare sectorHigh attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skillsExperience and confidence in behavioural management of high needs childrenExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExhibit our TheirCare values: Caring, Open and EngagedRequirements:In line with sector regulations, the following compliance documentation will be required for the role:Employee Working with Children Check or VIT cardFirst Aid + CPR CertificateChild Protection Training / Mandatory ReportingBe actively working towards and have completed 50% or have completed an ACECQA approved Diploma level qualificationJoin the fun at TheirCare and apply today.
